The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a decrease in the current price of its Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) from N990 per litre to N970 per litre.

The refinery disclosed this in a statement issued by its its Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina, over the weekend.

The company said this was its way of appreciating the good people of Nigeria for their unwavering support in making the Refinery a dream come true, as the year comes to an end.

In addition to promising high-quality products, the refinery praised the government's support, stating that this move will enhance efforts aimed at promoting domestic enterprises for the overall benefit of the nation.

“While the refinery would not compromise on the quality of its petroleum products, we assure you of best quality products that are environmentally friendly and sustainable.

“We are determined to keep ramping up production to meet and surpass our domestic fuel consumption; thus, dispelling any fear of a shortfall in supply,” the statement read.
