A heart-wrenching incident has been reported, where kidnappers who abducted a young man collected a hefty ransom of ₦3.5 million but still went ahead to kill the victim.
This tragic revelation was shared by Muyiwa Adejobi, Force Public Relations Officer, on his social media account.
Adejobi expressed deep sadness over the senseless act, which has added another painful chapter to the growing number of kidnapping cases in the country.
“They kidnapped a young man, collected ₦3.5 million naira ransom, and still killed the victim. So sad,” his post read.
The kidnappers have been arrested but Adejobi did not give their names.
