UCL: I want to hurt myself – Guardiola reacts to scratches on his nose, face

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola responded strangely when questioned about a cut on his nose following their humiliating 3-3 Champions League tie with Feyenoord.

Guardiola suffered a terrible cut on his nose when he arrived at Etihad Stadium for the game.

After the game, he had several scrapes on his head from watching his team throw away a 3-0 lead.

It means that City have failed to win their last six games, the first time that has happened since his first season in the Premier League eight years ago.

“I cut it with my finger,” Guardiola said at a press conference.

The former Bayern Munich and Barcelona boss then appeared to joke: “I want to hurt myself.”

City appeared to be on their way to an easy win when Erling Haaland and Ilkay Gundogan put them up 3-0 early in the second half.

However, some stunning defending resulted in three goals conceded in the closing 15 minutes.
